One of the best locations and properties ever Positive: We loved everything- the small details like the lighting, hangers, kitchen, utensils, great shower, outdoor seating, etc. Everything neat, tidy and yet very practical. Above all, no TV so you really enjoy the quietness of the place. In addition a great location Negative: That I couldn’t stay longer ;)

We've done a fair few weekends away from Perth, and Djindarup Retreat is honestly up there with the best of them. The setting is beautiful — the tiny house sits right by the lake, and waking up to that view with a coffee on the deck is something we won't forget in a hurry. At night, the fire pit under a sky full of stars is worth the trip on its own. Don't let "tiny house" fool you — it's cleverly designed with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, heating and aircon, and a private entrance so it feels completely your own space. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and everything just worked. There's even a washing machine, dryer and free WiFi, though you'll want to put the phone down and enjoy the quiet anyway. The location is the real winner. It's only about five minutes to the surf beaches at Prevelly and the same to Margaret River town centre with its cafes and restaurants, so you're perfectly placed between the coast and the wine region. We spent our days bouncing between the beach, a couple of cellar doors and the walking trails, and our evenings back at the retreat with the BBQ and the fire pit. The birdlife around the property were a lovely bonus. Big thanks to the hosts — communication was easy, check-in was seamless, and you can tell they genuinely care about the guest experience. If you're after a peaceful, romantic escape in the heart of the Margaret River region, book this before everyone else finds out about it. We'll absolutely be back.
